Buses from Vienna to Paris depart from the city's Vienna International bus terminal, which is known locally as the VIB. The VIB is directly linked to Vienna's U-Bahn underground transport network via the Erdberg stop and the journey from the center takes about 30 minutes. Taxis are easily available to hail and the journey takes about 15 minutes. Public transport in Vienna operates until about midnight, and the U-Bahn operates all night on Fridays and Saturdays.
