Can I keep my mobile number if I change networks?

Keeping your number is a fairly simple process if you do finally decide to change networks. The most important thing needed is a PAC (porting authorisation code), issued by your existing carrier.

Your network will issue you with a PAC within two days of you asking for it, or provide a valid reason as to why they cannot issue it to you.

This PAC can then be given to your new network, who will transfer your number and issue you with a temporary one for the brief transitional period.
