The Nokia 8310 was a luxury handset crossed with many fashionable elements such as the diminutive size and multi-coloured Xpress-On covers.
Much was made of the GPRS connectivity and integrated FM radio, which was a rarity at the time. The only feature which left it lacking was a 5 line monochrome display, a backward step at a time when colour screens were beginning to be introduced.
