Leila Makki from Telecom TV has gotten her hands on the hot new handset from HTC, the Hero!

She reports from the launch event, showing off the new 'Sense' user interface, the threaded contacts list and customisable content profiles, called 'Scenes'.

The handset offers a slightly more refined experience than the HTC Magic and T-Mobile G1 Android phones that have come before, and is set to make waves in the mobile world when it launches in Late June on Orange.

The Hero will also see the light of day on T-Mobile, where it will be known as the T-Mobile G2 Touch.
