- Incredible interface
- Safari browser
- Awesome applications
- Only a 2mp Camera
- No Flash
- No MMS
I owned the original iPhone, which in my view, was in a league of it's own. Nokia and their Symbian s60 platform had become stale.
Then Apple released the 3G version and with the addition of the app store it was a godsend. You'll find anything from Nintendo DS style games to high tech business solutions. No other mobile platform has such incredible games or software available. The iPhone has attracted some of the best developers around the world. You'll even find big brands such as Sega, ebay and facebook creating apps.
The interface is next to none. Everything is where you'd expect to find it, and oh so simple to navigate. The keyboard is unexpectedly easy to use, in fact within a couple of hours, I was typing even faster than I could with T9 on my N95!
The browser is without a doubt in a league of it's own. There's no other browser that even comes close to Safari. It really is like browsing the web on a PC or Mac. The only thing they could improve is Flash support, which I believe will come soon.
Sorry this is a short review, I'll be adding more later. But if you're toying with the iPhone and other handsets, I'd say nothing else in the market comes close. Though if you absolutely need a great camera, the iPhone's isn't great.
