Yeah, shocking but we have it on pretty good authority that it's true. By October, o2 will no longer be the exclusive retailer in the UK. Would that be enough to convince you to buy? Let us know!

Wow that that is pretty big news if it is true. Do you think O2 will not stock iPhones anymore or will just add Orange to the list? Im not on either network unfortunately and have ages before my contract is up so doesnt make much difference.

This is not true. O2 has at least a two year exclusive deal, probably more, with Apple in the UK. Talking about Orange having the phone in France is irrelevant. Then again, we've already been duped with various "scoops" about O2 stopping selling a number of handsets in favour of the iPhone, which have already proved to be false, so I'd not take any "news" posted here too seriously.

is this actually true as i have heard the rumor but never had or seen or heard any hard evidence that can back this up as im currently with orange and have a contract renewal in november ????

Sadly it's looking unlikely now in my opinion. I think we would have heard more by now if it was actually going to happen. I think our contact might have been a bit over excited at the time...
