Not that impressed yet hun? But what makes this device interesting is the numerous 3rd party software you can load on it. Personally I believe there should be essential software you should have if your to use such a device. Volume Care, this one can crank your volume to 120%, because natively it's not that loud. Opera 4.1, though Blazeris ok, it does not pack that punch. Tryda, which used to be directory assitant, I tell you this is a life saver, in conjunction with google maps 2.02.0 you can't go wrong. Docs to Go, the newest one can open any Office 2007 document, be it word, excel, Power point, access etc.. All in one, no need for pocket word, pocket excel etc. File Z, oh my goodness! I tell you this is a file manager to die for. Kinoma, you can watch youtube vids, stream radio and movies. TCPMP, another application to watch videos of different format. As I list all of these application I forgot to mention that they are FREE! Majority already come with the device and they continue to improve with updates and patches. Thats the thing I love about this device not only are there so many free appz, but it's makes you day to day activity much more easier. Spart phones are slowly replacing our conventional Desktops/laptops. No need to bootup a machine, to do online backing, send/receive email (sprint mobile email), chat on your favorite IM (mundu IM). It's like have a computer in the "Palm" on your hand, no pun inteaded.

The only think I would say I dislike is the form factor somewhat. I'm definitely a fan of QWERTY Keyboards so thats what the Touch Pro is just a beautiful device to me. The Treo stays true to the keyboard interface and doesnt succomb to the iPhone virtual keyboard that I can never get used to. Ok I lost my train of though for a moment back to form factor. The device is heavy, me in particular it's the extended batter that makes it feel like a dumbell. The it's the stub they call an antenna. Such old technology, no need for that nonsense. Memory, internal in particular, not enough, though there is a way to hack the firmware for you to be able to read 32GB of SD Memory, I need more RAM and internal memory, thats just the movement and Palm has always been slow at that.

The Palm OS is very easy to use, and very stable I might say. It's just that it gets very little support, but there are talks of a re-emergance. I hear google is in talks to lend an open hand with their OS, and Linux as another possible OS, so I'm excited to see what becomes of it. But in the mean time HTC has become bar none pimps of the industries device makers. The Touch Pro, everytime I see it I want to cry, it's it truely a work of art.

Nice review maceyr! Cheers, and good luck! What's with all the Palm loving going on? I know that leke is a huge fan, but 4 and a half stars is pretty positive too!

Great review, tasi!

@ernest, well, considering I did come over to Windows Mobile from a Palm OS device, it shouldn't be too surprising.  I have been trying out other smartphones and really enjoy and love how easy it is to type on the keyboard of the Treo (750 and 650).  Even the E71 which I'm trying out now isn't nearly as nice, although it's a great smartphone.

I'm thinking a Blackberry with the trackball would be really great and I hope that I can get the wonderful opportunity (one day) to try it out.
