A 1-click link to the result allows instant purchasing of your new fave tune, whilst related content on YouTube can also be accessed in an instant.

Tagged tracks are full of extra information about the artist including images and biographies, which can then be sorted and shared with Shazam-owning mates.

Even when stuck in a lead-lined, exclusive nightspot without a data connection, Shazam can capture track data of floor-filling anthems for tagging when Wi-Fi or 3G is more freely available.

With current updates such as geo-tagging to pinpoint where you heard that tune for the first time, tweeting tags on Twitter and improved general swishness, Shazam is a must have app for the musically inclined.
